Overview

Stories emerging from the Abzu Galaxy echo the spirit of familiar epics from other universes… tales of wandering heroes, enchanted legacies, and star-bright wars where destiny is written in both Zima and quantum code.

RIP-gate Network

The defining feature of the Abzu Galaxy is the RIP-gate lattice, an ancient system of stabilized portals once maintained by the Anu. These gates allow traversal across staggering distances:
up to 25,000 light years per jump, enabling rapid passage between worlds normally separated by centuries of traditional travel.

Because the galaxy spans roughly 100,000 light years, a journey across its width would require at least four coordinated RIP jumps, assuming all gates are stable. (Several, of course, are not. NA-R8 politely recommends caution.)

A persistent mystery remains:

Why are only twelve planets linked by natural RIPs?

Legends suggest an ancient design, or perhaps a forgotten catastrophe, but no confirmed data survives in the accessible archives.
