Overview

“Advanced Technologies” describes the unique magitech-driven innovations of the Abzu Galaxy, most notably those originating on Anki, a parallel Earth whose scientific evolution diverged sharply from the Earth of the gunga universe. Unlike Earth, which endured millennia of collapse and regression, Anki developed technology along a continuous, uninterrupted timeline enriched by early access to fragmentary magic, Dragon relics, and eventually Zetta hyper-tech.

As a result, the people of Anki stand approximately two centuries ahead of Earth’s modern development — before magic is even accounted for.

The Minoan Migration Event

The earliest foundations of Anki’s technological ascension begin with the Minoan Migration Event, when a group of Bronze Age Minoans from Earth encountered an early natural RIP more than 3,500 years ago. Passing through it, they arrived on Anki — carrying with them language, geometry, mythology, engineering, astronomy, and mythic ritual practices that readily fused with the magic-rich environment of their new world.

Free from Earth’s long dark ages, wars, and collapses, the Minoan-descended cultures of Anki evolved without interruption, forming the backbone of its advanced magitech society.

The Zetta Intervention

(Centuries later, first contact with the technological race known as the Zetta accelerated Anki’s progress even further. In exchange for access to Zi-crystals and RAW Codex data, the Zetta provided:

• hyper-drive engines
• RIP-drive technology
• dimensional folding arrays
• Codex-compatible neural processors
• magitech calibration standards

This partnership empowered humans and other Anu-blooded races to operate independently of Eldar-controlled RIP-gates — shifting the balance of power and enabling the peaceful formation of the Anki Ascendancy.
